How far can PC2700 or PC3200 be underclocked?

    Just a quick question:

I have two very old workstations that need to have their RAM upgraded. I have found that low frequency RAM in the size they require is very expensive. I have spare sticks of PC2700 and PC3200, but can they be underclocked to PC133 or PC100 speeds? Thanks for any and all replies.

I don't think they will fit in the slots. The PC100 and PC133 have 2 key notches in them and the PC2100 and up have only 1 notch.

They also have a different number of connector pins. I had an old Compaq 500MHz and considered the same thing.
