During a recent password audit, it was found that a blonde was using the following password:

    MickeyMinniePlutoHueyLouieDeweyDonaldGoofy

When asked why such a big password, she said that it had to be at least 8 characters long.

if you did some number/letter substitution that would be a brilliant password.

My personal password is 9 characters long, random capitals, and numbers and symbols. I almost get the password strength meter pegged.

You're like me BM, I do same, usually use latin words with a mix of alpha-numerical and the odd symbol, tips the strenght meter to high, just need to remember what I used half of the time, so recover my password gets used alot.

Too many passwords and user names to remember these days.

I hate to admit it, but I tend to use only a couple of different passwords. That way I can cycle through them if need be. Due to the fact that I have so many different accounts in random places it is almost impossible for me to remember to go into each one and change it when I change to a different one.

A buddy of mine does it in the best way I think. He always uses linux machines and he just has a password manager that auto logs him into various things. Knowing that, his passwords for all accounts but the local linux account is a total 105 key random character string of 16 characters long. Then he does something like us for his local linux login.
