How many Browsers in Win Vista?

Hello, I have Win Vista Home 32, with Intel Pentium Dual Core and 3.0 ram. I wanted to know, How many browsers can i have open at the same time, without damaging my laptop? Thanks in advance.

It really depends more on the number of tabs or pages open and the content of those pages, a few pages with Flash graphics may use more RAM and CPU than several dozen 'light' pages or tabs.

With 3 GB of RAM, I'd problably not worry about having between 15 - 150 pages or tabs open, content and feeling of response considered. If the PC feels like it's hot or working hard, it's probably best to close the tabs/pages (bookmarking any you really need) closing the browser, waiting a few minutes for it to finish, then re-open it and start again.

I often have 30+ tabs and several other programs running, for 4 or more hours before I feel the need to close some of them to de-stress the PC - and my computer isn't as powerful as yours.


Do you feel there's a problem or the browser struggling when you have several pages open?

 

Actually i wanted to know about having browsers opened up, instead of tabs. Meaning how many different browsers can i have running at the same time? No problem struggling, just wanted to know. Thanks for the Welcome.

 

I thought he was asking about browsers instead of pages.
I currently have Opera, Chrome, and Browzar Black running at the same time.

Basically, as many as you can load, I regularly have 3 or 4 open with dozens of tabs, when testing a site, maybe 7-8 browsers open.
