2014 Chevy Sonic LT 1.8 Turbo only has 47,0000 miles on it.I only put about 13,000 on it from last year when i got it.31 to 32 miles to the gallon +++ i got a 11.5 gallon tank and it can go up to 300 miles on one tank. That's if i don't hammer on the engine up a hill lol.I do not fill my tank up for a week and a half.

Turbo up A HILL IS FUN.When i can go faster than the rest.

Our 96 Volvo 940 Turbo wagon has 420,000km but it is much more because the speedo didn't work for about 9 or 10 months while we waited for the wrecker to get a secondhand sensor to replace our faulty one because of course we have the model that these sensors are in short supply. Still going strong but a while back it got caught in a very bad hail storm and has golf ball sized dents all over the body that are too expensive to fix. My wife was getting sick of the dented appearance so this week I bought a newer one. The old one will still be used as a work horse when we need to pick up any stuff that would spoil the interior of the new one or if the kids need to borrow a car.

I like to buy new and drive it a long time. The newest is 2014 bought after 2015 came out and now it has 10,300 miles on it. The one we traded for this one was bought new in 2003 and it had 101,000 miles and still looked and drove like new. We have a pickup with 90,000 and my husband has a old truck with over 250,000 miles on he drives everyday. Still runs good. Regular maintenance is key.

No not really as home to city where I work is 12 miles both ways, plus when I travel now for work its by train or plane so no driving really, hence why I bought a Fiat 500, great on gas and insurance £235 per year, £0 road tax

I also hear you on a turbo car as mine is a turbo also even though its a 0.9ltr car, zippy!

    Zippy is fun.

But how can your car be lower than 1 liter engine. That is kinda odd never heard of that. Most cars any more between 1.8 and 2.6.New to me.

What kinda gas do you put in your's i put 89 gas and it runs perfect. If i go 87 gas it runs like dog poo.

Gee have a look at the early Fiat Bambino models because they only had a 500cc or 0.5l motor. They were called Fiat 500 because of their capacity and known colloquially as the Fiat Bambino meaning baby.

    Never understood car's too well.

I just like things that go fast and get's me from point a to point b.

Still kinda weird to me.Be cause most Us base cars are at lest a 2.2 some are like mine that are 1.8.

A lot of muscle cars are in the higher range.

lol...how are the above two even possible??

If you drive less than 7500 miles a year here, you get a discount on your car insurance for being extremely low mileage. My Acura I was driving that is a 2010 has 120,000 on it. I hope it lasts at least as long as my daughter is in college since she now has it since I just got my Audi.

    700 miles/month
I work nights, so I rarely am bothered with traffic and get 31mpg
the best part of the car is the A/C and radio
I despise the new "touch screen" crap that they have for radios/A/C/heat
I dont want to have to navigate 3-8 screens when I want to turn on the radio/AC
I have a USB Port and tell my car what song to play from my jumpdrive, but that requires 1 button but then i have the easy to use radio and the ONE button that turns on MAX AC
    sheesh

and if I want to Change the TEMP i can do it in .1sec with a KNOB that crank,no buttons here!

I recently sold a 1991 Benz 190E with a Stroker engine. It had a tad over 384,000 miles. The new owner tells me that it runs smooth with no issues. And yes, the engine was once repaired. I would change the oil every 3 months no matter what mileage it had unless it was more than 3000 miles.

In Europe there has been a push for small eco cars and Fiat have long had a tradition of that going back to the original 500, the modern ones you can get in 0.9ltr, 1.2ltr and the Abarth variant of 1.4ltr Turbo. The one I have is a 0.98ltr 105bhp two cylinder turbo does around 50mpg in city and is same power output as a normal 1.4ltr car, does on a tank around 250miles, city, if motorway or highway then more as you'd be using 6th gear. The gas is either 95 or 98 RON, majority of UK is this.

Small country :O) I live on the outskirts of the city I work in but the journey is 12miles each way so no need for a large car these days, also parking is a doddle.
