How much for each partition.

    I just bought a new 500 GB hard drive (Seagate Sata 500GB 8 mb 5400.6) for my laptop. I am going to make 3 partitions. C: for my operating system, D: for Adobe photos & Photoshop Elements 7 & Adobe Premiere Elements 7 & games, G: for safe storage. Plus I have an external 1 TB hard disc I will be transferring my finish videos & photos. I am installing Vista Home Premium on my laptop. Any suggestions on how large to make my partitions & what size would you recommend for my C: drive so it runs smooth?
