how much of a power supply do i really need?

the basics of my build are

1 BIOSTAR TA770 A2+ AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard

1 BFG Tech BFGE88512GTOCE GeForce 8800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

1 APEVIA ATX-AS680W-BL 680W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply

1 AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Brisbane 2.6GHz Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core Black Edition Processor Model ADO5000DSWOF

1 CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-6400C4

Now the only things that might change in the immedietate future would be id get 2 more gigs of ram, or id bump up to a quad core processor.

I currently have a 440 watt power supply. So assuming only the quoted build, would i need that 680w or would my current 440w be fine. or simply, whats the lowest wattage i would need to safely, and stabe-ly run the system?
