How much would you charge for making this website?

A friend wants me to make him a website for him and a few of my other friends and their skiing. It will have a profile page, a guestbook, a page for movies, pictures, and of course a main page. The design will be simplistic if you know what I mean. Have a cold feeling, with like snow flakes and stuff. How would do you think I should charge for this? I was thinking around $15-20, but I'm not sure.

I'd break it down into the time you're going to take on each part, and use a hourly rate. Unless you're going to spend 1 hour or so on the job, I'd go for more...

$15~20 sounds about right for something you are doing for friends, so long as you do keep it simple and dont use up too much time, IF you overcharge for and I'm sorry to bring this up... an amature web design then you may not get any more recomendations from other friends and word of mouth for more web design work.

Take small steps and treat all of these small projects as experiments and training to a possible career in design/web design, once you become more proficiant at it you can then charge more plus the bonus of getting more work at a reasonable charge is that you will start to produce pro looking sites quicker.
