How or what did I do, can't copy & paist?

Greetings,

I can no longer copy and paist things from anything to ether email or Microsoft Word. I havent made any major changes in my settings. I can't even copy a url and paist it to the address box .

I have a Nexar
System Win 98
RAM 120.0MB
Genuineintel x86 Family 6 Model 11 stepping 1

Can anyone help me out? I can't think what I may havve done.

Is Drag and Drop and Copy and Paste Enabled or Disabled?

I think this right for Win98.
IE > Tools > Internet Options > Security > click on the Custum Level tab > scroll down and under Miscellaneous check to make sure Drag and Drop and Copy and Paste is enabled.

Also, be sure you back your way out with OK.

Hmmmn, did u use any tweaking tools? ive used some tweak in the past and it often screws. copy and paste up..

 

I have "xp" where do i check to make sure my settings are correct for copy and paste and drag n drop?

My next step will be to check for tutorials on copy and paste. I don't know how to do that and I don't know how to split a window.
Never had to do either but have to learn now.

No tweeking tools, I'll try to defragment and stuff, who knows maybe that will do some thing.

I've seen this with corrupt user accounts. Try a new user account.

 

That happens to me when on the internet occasionally. I either have to close some or all of the windows or just run Ad-Aware through it and that makes everything work again.
