Yes and its very annoying. I'm finally listening to my father and taking more vitamins. But children and dogs find an amusing way of interrupting most things I think are important. ;)

Maybe try getting up at the same time you would if had to go to work!
    Drink strong coffee
    Get some Jolt cola lol
Take shower as soon as you get up!

I get tired too (then again I'm always tired these days)
I just make myself get up and do what I have to do! :)

I've recently discovered all that crap about drinking 7-8 glasses of water a day, is really amazing how it works!!!! And I hate water...It has no taste!!!!!

But...I used to get tired ALL the time...very easy...especially if I was just sitting around, but since I've started concentrating on drinking an abundance of water everyday...It's been like night and day!!!! I don't get as tired as easy...and it also rehydrates the disc in your back, and the cartilidge in all your joints, and so your back and joints just might not hurt as much!!!!

Worked for me!!!! I used to give the ole... :p ...to drinking water, because I LOVE my Coke and Cool Aid...but I've noticed a difference in just the last week!!

Whenever I get up...I immediately take a shower, and get ready like I'm gonna leave the house for some reason!!!! It helps get the subconsience motivated!!!!

Hmmmm. maybe it's drinking all that water that keeps you awake since you have to then use the bathroom a lot! lol!

I've also found that when I swim for an hour three times a week I have alot more stamina through out the day? But will try the water drinking trick since I'm in the pool already!

yup, I think she figured it out.lol
seriously though, the more active you are the more energy you have, and drinking water helps too...just try to keep it to the " earlier" hours of the day. :p

Actually....If you drink the proper ampunt of water...you will probably find that you will not have to pee as much!!!! If your body is dehydrated and/or you drink fluids that can't be used (coke, coffee, tea, cool aid, or anything with alot of sugar) you will find yourself spending more time in the restroom!!! Unless it's for other purposes :p !!!!

This might be more than you wanted to know, but...It seems as though I have a bladder about the size of a quarter...and if I'm sitting around drinking coke, or other crap, then I have to go about every 30 mins, but if I stick to the water...then I guess the body can use more than that, and I've not had to pee as much!!!! Especially if i'm sweating alot!!!!

Lost a lot of strength after my shoulder surgery. I had to start light, and I do mean light, something like 30lbs when I started lifting again. I was benching 225 in 3 sets of 10 reps, before the surgery. Now I am at 150 and that is touch and go, and it has been 4 years since my surgery.

Activity level has been drastically reduced, by order of the doctor. I can no longer run, used to run 5-miles a day, 7 days a week. Tired all the time. I think I am going to take up bicycling, figure if I can ride at a sustained speed of 20-mph or better for 45-minutes or better; I'll get a pretty decent Cardiovascular workout.

Started Physical Therapy the day after the surgery, mostly range of motion stuff and isometrics. Graduated to the gym like 6-wks post-op, and under the supervision of the threapist. I stayed in PT for 8-months, then the doc restricted my allowed activities, no pushups, no running. Swimming is a great exercise for working your shoulder. Start slow/light and build up over time.

Your doc should have started you on a physical therapy regime all most immediately. Pain killers help, but don't block all the pain. Exercising the arm helps the healing process, reduces the scarring, and reduces the chances of muscle entropy.

Interesting. I was always under the impression that you pretty much pee out (or sweat out) most of what you drink, unless you had a lot of salt. I always thought that only those with diabetes would be running to the bathroom after drinking stuff that had sugar in it!
I know that when you first start drinking a lot you may hit the bathroom more, but then your body gets used to it (can't think of the word ) I guess since it's maintaining it's normal water content.

You can drink too much water and then you will pee it all out because your body doesn't need it and will expell it!!

I know I have a small bladder, because I can drink a coke and thirty minutes later I have to piss like a race horse!! However...If I drink while on a road trip...I can hold it for 3 or 4 hours before I even get the urge!! Must be mind over matter!! I shure as hell can't hold it for 6-7 hours!! LOL

I probably shouldn't say this, but...back in high school, my buddies used to call me F.W. (f#&*ing Woman) everytime I had to go pee, because it was sooo often!!

    Roger

P.S. Hope Kodo doesn't get any ideas here!!!! LOL

Drinking too much water can be fatal, I'm not joking either. Over hydrating is very bad for you and can be fatal. The average person needs about 1-quart of water a day, as your activity level increases so should your water intake. You should drink water throughout the day roughly 2 to 4 ounces at a time. Depending own how active you are and the ambient air temperature you may need to drink as much as 2 gallons of water a day.
