    Hello,

My name is Bernardo and i'm looking for a solution that i believe it's not impossoble nor difficult.
I need to assemble a small structure, to put a person inside, where i'll connect several cams and having them shooting at the same time.
Thanks in advance for all those that will spend time thinking about this issue.

Actually it is impossible along with difficult. The ones used by gaming designers and for movies, the servers run on Linux. The Cameras are Red brand. Add to that, that they are using 10gb Fiber & Fiber Channel Hard Drives, High horsepower CPU's and High horsepower Video Capture cards.

You are talking hundreds of thousands of dollars in hardware.

    That was my guess!
Meanwhile, isn't there any primitive alternative, like having standalone cameras controled by a single remote control?

the primative camera idea, shooting single pictures, controlled by an arduino or something like that? Are you trying to shoot the 'matrix' effects?
    Look at these..

In a way, that's what i intend to do , but don't need fancy camera.
The main goal is to make a photoboot 360ยบ
    Do you have any idea?

    What cameras/equipment do you have?

OK, I found it. There's software that's specialized for multi-cams, 360 degree shots (some call it Bullet-time, it's what the Matrix folks called it and it stuck), and even doing a photobooth. And it's all the same company.

Keep in mind you will need dSLRs, not point and shoot cameras. There's too much lag and variables between point and shoot cameras to make it possible. A dSLR on the other hand can be set to be extremely accurate.

Sorry for the double post. I've been looking through forum discussions I've seen for a day when I posted, then minutes later finally found the link.
