In 2009 I bought a bankruptcy software that I installed in a laptop of my own (one time installation). The laptop crashed and I lost all the data I had on it, including the bankruptcy software. When I install the bankruptcy software on my desktop I am told that the program runs in a demo mode, that I need to upgrade the program in order to have access to the program without the demo watermark. I contacted the company from which I bought the software and they want me to buy a new version of the software, which amounts to nearly $400.00. Bankruptcy law has not change that much and I do not have that many customers to justify paying that amount of money for a new software. I have to repeat that I pay for the version of the software that I have and that right now is useless to me. I would like to know if there is a way to bypass the password (which by company standards is what I have to buy to get access to the software again) and keep using the version I have that, in the way it is right now, it still can be used by me.
