how to change a vob video to

ok i have a vob file i need to cut in to 100 mg and change it to a ,wma,mpeg,
it says the best form to use is MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 320x240 resolution with MP3 audio i dont know what this means furst time and i am so angry please someone help me

 

What exactly will you be doing with it?

 

i want to upload it to a web site it is on a dvd show from tv the form it is in wont upload on the web page

 

You are typically allowed no more than 30 seconds under fair use laws, for educational or illustrative purposes only. There are also exceptions for parody and satirization. Also, you must credit the copyright and trademark owners. If you are going to upload it to Youtube or Google Video or similiar sites, that won't count. What site?

 

i did nit know you could not do that so many people have the same video i wanted to put up but i did not know it was copy
but i have home movies i took can i put those up and be ok if you i still need to know how to change it
i wont put on the ones that are not my own personal movies

 

try auto gordian knot to convert vob to xvid, you should be able to specify the size you want it converted too. Be aware the more you compress it the crappier the quality will get. As mentioned above DO NOT use this with copyright material
