    Somewhere along the line the IE browser window border title changed, and not sure why, and not sure what it was b4.

    Was using dialup ISP temporarily and somehow that name got added to the browser window title.

    Now the title says...
    "MajorGeeks Support Forums - Search Results - Locl-Net, Inc"

    The 'Locl-Net, Inc' portion is the part in question.

    Seems to also be effecting some other html items created.

    Ideas ?

    When run gpedit.msc, get popup error...

    Snap-in failed to initialize.
    Name: Group Policy Object Editor
    CLSID:{8FC0B734-A0E1-11D1-0000F87571E3}

    when click 'ok' on the popup, get 'Group Policy' window with message...

    Snap-in Creation Failed
    The snap-in is not created, ie may not be installed properly.
    Name: Group Policy Object Editor
    CLSID:{8FC0B734-A0E1-11D1-0000F87571E3}

    What are we missing ?

    Looking in Microsoft Support Site, it says:

    This behavior occurs because the PATH environment variable does not include
    the
    %SystemRoot%\System32\WBEM folder

    RESOLUTION

    To resolve this behavior, add the %SystemRoot%\System32\WBEM folder to your
    PATH environment variable. To do so, follow these steps: 1.Right-click My
    Computer,
    and then click Properties.

    2.On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
    3.Under System Variables double-click the PATH environment variable.
    4.Type: %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\system32\WBEM

    Thank you for the reply.
    Not finding a 'PATH' variable, only a 'Path' variable, and it doesnt look anything like the step #4. entry 'coding'.
    Variable = Path
    Value = C:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared\
    Ideas ?

    sorry it took so long to get back to you. after looking at my system i saw that it is a long line. while what you saw was in it that is not the whole thing. what you need to do is check the whole value. be very careful, make the line active and use your arrow key to scroll though the whole line and see if it is there.
