How to clean a virus?

When i get a virus, is it best for me to delet it or quarantine it?

 

Some viruses will not let you delete them, you have to quarantine them first.

But is is better to delete them.

 

Quarantining a suspected file is the safest option.

Some files can exhibit "virus-like" activity or behaviour, but can be totally innocent in nature.

If you quarantine them temporarily, it won't affect your system, yet you can restore it if needed.

Any program of merit will almost always quarantine a file for a period of time rather that delete it outright.

Dont forget to switch off the SYSTEM RESTORE facility if you are running Windows XP. If you dont I may stop you from deleting the virus
