How to complete upgrading to 4K

I want to have a fully functional 4k display using an LG UHD TV for my computer - and I am close - youtube 4k movies are displaying well on the LG, but there is a slight speech lag and possibly visual lag occasionally. And I need to correct those.

(I may - just realised - have an interrelated problem with a non-functional PC camera microphone - perhaps the audio settings are wrong)

    My system -
    3.50 gigahertz AMD FX-6300 Six-Core
    8174 Megabytes
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. GA-78LMT-USB3
    Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
BIOS: Award Software International, Inc. FA 04/23/2013

    My newly installed graphics card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti [Display adapter]

Just in case, Belarc shows under "MUltimedia":

    NVIDIA High Definition Audio
NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)
    VIA High Definition Audio
    WsAudio_Device(1)
    WsAudio_Device(2)
    WsAudio_Device(3)
    WsAudio_Device(4)
    WsAudio_Device(5)

I have just reinstalled the Gigabyte card disk. I don't think it was properly installed the first time,

    ANd my first question is:

the @BIOS program for the Gigabyte card gives me the option to upgrade the
    Model Name:GA-78LMT-USB3 rev 5.0
    to :
AMD 760G Award Bios Ver FA

Should I do that? (Can screw up bios apparently if wrong)

    2nd Question:

the OC GURU II program for the card doesn't show when opened - and doesn't therefore show any options as per the card manual

    and PROCEXP shows it as

    [Error opening process]

Should I do anything about that?

ANd are there any other steps I should take?

P.S. Something is funny with my audio setup, because while it plays to speakers fine, the microphone isn't working on Skype - and after I try that, the audio to speakers is temporarily disrupted. I have to take out the audio jack and put it in again for normal speaker service to be resumed.

Many many thx if you can help sort this out.

    Check your bandwidth at
    http://www.speedtest.net/
post it please. Your Utube playing might be a bandwidth problem.

What video card connection type are you running? I have not used the LG, but the Asus 4K has to be set up with its on screen controls if you are running Display Port 1.2. Otherwise it stays with 1.1 which is a much poorer data rate. You may need to configure your input on the TV to agree with your card.

    Many thx DOA. V. helpful.

Not my b'band line - 150mbs official, 130+ actual. It's the transmission at the other end. When I d/l and play the same 4k videos from my computer vs online, the differences disappear. The picture is awesome and so far in sync. I found this on a handful of vids. - though in some cases, the vids play fine online.

One minor question - my mouse seems to drag slightly - not as smooth on my new huge 40 in. screen vs old 26 in HD. It's a cheap one wh. has been k till now. Would a more expensive mouse improve things?

Thx again - perhaps obvious with hindsight, but I hadn't thought of it.
