How To Completely Microsoft Bing From My Computer?

When I boot up my computer Bing always open when the computer starts. And Bing seems to have hijack my Google Chrome browser. For example, when I open Crome I get a notice do I want to make Google Chrome my default. I say yes and follow the instructions. But the next time I open Crome there is the same message do you want to make chrome my default browser.

Another issue just started in the past week. When I open Google Chrome, it looks ok, but when I enter a topic in the search window, it brings up the search results with Bing. How do I completely remove Bing from my computer? I have tried searching for help and when I follow the instruction they don't work. It probably me with my limited computer knowledge.

 

First here is how to disable Bing from starting up when you boot up.
1. Open Task Manager (ctrl+shift+esc)
2. Click on the startup tab
3. Remove the check/tick in front of Bing.

Post back when you have done this and it is working. I'll then give steps for the 2nd problem.

Next step - how to make Chrome the default browser so you don't keep getting asked.
1. Open Settings in Windows.
2. Click on the Apps tab.
3. Select default apps from the side panel.
4. Scroll down to Web Browser and click on the current browser shown.
5. Choose Google Chrome and click DONE.

Post back when this is working and then we will try to tackle the last problem.
