How to create a link to a page and song?

Hello all. Can someone tell me the html that would make a single link click display a page and start an .mp3? I can do both independently... but I want it to happen at the same time. I'm trying to upload mp3s for my band. I want the user to click on the link.. have a small page with the song info appear.. right when the song starts.

Do you know the html for the new page to come up and the mp3 seperately? If so do this; just put the html for the song to start up on the page. So that way it will open the page and then play the song and display the info while the song is playing. I'm not sure how to make both at the same time but I do know how to do this. In order to load the song you need to upload it to a server somewhere. Then you need to use the command for backround music and point to the URL where you placed the song. Then place the html for the song in the first line of the new window that will display the song information.

 

That's not a bad idea... just enable the auto-play on the pop-up page (I think that's what you were getting at). I hadn't really thought of doing it that way.

No problem, a friend of mine was putting together a blog and I helped her out because she wanted to have an mp3 of hers play while the page was loading.
