I had a friend tell me that maybe I should make a profile on my pc, so that I can stop a bunch of un need processes and stuff. Dose anyone know how to go about doing this?

I'm assuming you mean seeing the logon screen on startup and signing in?
Go into the Control Panel->User Accounts. Here you can enable the Guest account, make a new account, or edit your current account settings.

You don't need to make a new profile to stop processes; you can do that yourself at any time.

    hi
Be safe do a system restore first if this is new to you:)

type in the run box msconfig
which is your system configuration utility
    look for the tab startup
and uncheck any of the ticked programs that you dont use or want to startup when your pc boots up ie
quicktime, realplayer, office startup are some of the most common ones you can untick
but stay away from the other tabs just use startup tab
unless you know what your doing or you will create other problems
always do your own system restores dont rely on windows to do it for you:)
