How to delete a virtual drive

Good evening Major Geeks,
I have an HP laptop running Windows 7. Recently, a game was downloaded and placed on a virtual drive that was created just for this game. I would like to delete the game and the virtual drive. I have researched this online but for some reason I do not get the same screens and drop-down boxes as displayed on line. I have read about diskpart and disk manager but would prefer to get someone with experience to help I appreciate any advice you can give. Thank you in advance! Brandon

 

I'm running Win7 but I don't think it has a built-in utility that will create a virtual drive on its own.

Usually a virtual drive is created using a separate software like PowerISO or MagicISO or DaemonTools, do you have any of this software on your computer?

 

I believe Alcohol 120 was used. I did read somewhere that if that program is deleted, the virtual drive would go with it. I have not tried that but I certainly can as I have no need for it.

 

I'm trying to find a link to the exact procedure but basically you want to find an option somewhere in the program to set number of virtual drives to zero. That will unmount the virtual drive and the game. The below picture if it matches your version of alcohol is just a sample and you would set it to zero and uncheck the box for remount on startup.

Actually the website for that image seems to indicate that it is just one click to get to that screen. So just go to the virtual drive options screen and set number of drives to zero and uncheck the mount on reboot box. http://www.online-tech-tips.com/software-reviews/windows-mount-iso-image/
