How to disable Win Media Player Scripting

    One of the forms our school virii come in is an avi file. They pop up web sites and do other nefarious activities. Is there a way to lock down Media player so it stops inviting virii?
    I know MS wants to keep us vulnerable, so if I can lock WMP down, what will break?

    BTW, WMP 9 is really unhappy about me keeping it from the Internet. I will have to unleash it and trap some packets to see what it is telling MS.

    if you don't download pRon .AVI files at school you will be fine!
