how to extract the firmware from an mp3

    i have an emerson mp3 player and the firmware is shot for the most part so i was hoping to take a copy of it to try and alter it well keeping a copy on my computer in case i ever need to reload the firmware

    or i would love a link to a firmware copy to fix the player

    ps:the problems with it started when the battery died in the middle of playing music on day
