How to format a HDD without OS

    Had bought a HDD to use in a PS3 was setup for that now I need it for a laptop, I put it in the laptop but its formated in FAT32, how can I erase that with an OS?

    Are you wanting to reinstall your laptop operating system onto this new hard drive?

    Yes OS is Xp Pro SP3, and our company software.

    During the installation, you will be offered the option to delete partition(s) and format the drive. If it is a manufacturer's recovery disc or a third party disc image, it will do so automatically.
