how to get 32 bit IE8?

Apparently Adobe Flash player 10 does not work on IE7 or IE8 64bit. I have been weeks trying to install and use it and finally found the answer on Dell support. There are 2 problems, firstly how do you find out whether you have 64 or 32, and if it is 64 where do you find the 32 bit version of IE7 or 8?
An answer to this would save my sanity!:confused

 

If I understand you correctly: In XP IE 7: right click My Computer>Properties. If you've got 64 bit it will show there, if 32 bit it won't. Don't know in IE 8, but think it will be the same.

In XP you can check which type of cpu you have, 32 or 64, in Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information.
