Is there a way to get info from computer to SD Flash Card? My dell desktop has no input for a flash card. I only have dvd drive, cd drive and usb port.

    Thanks,
    KC

You need a USB card reader capable of accepting SD cards. Sandisk, for one, offers a reader that accepts several of the most popular type of memory cards. I have one that does CF, SD, Memory Stick and others in its various slots. Though called readers, cards inserted in to them can be written to as well. Be aware, however, that data written to the card by your PC may sometimes not be able to be read by the device in which you use the card.

Stupidly complex, but before I had my nice card reader drives I used to plug my camera into my usb, and upload data straight onto the card that way. Does not show on the camera, but it carried the data okay, and I downloaded it later. Quick backup, but rather supposes you have a camera with SD.
