Hi, I'm trying to get at the cmos battery in this Medion MD96340 notebook (I hope its under the keypad!) to reset the bios but I can't figure out how to get the keypad off! I only see one center screw, which I took off, but the board is sticking on the right side, anybody have any idea how to get this thing off? see pic

Most laptops I've ever worked on (IBM/Dell) the screws are on the bottom. There are usually little indicators of what they hold, like a little keyboard symbol, etc.
So you only remove what you need.
I have a Medion, desktop & they gave great phone support last time I called them.

    Hi EJ,

Never worked on that machine. Have you tried for the service manual from the Maker's site? Sometimes you can get info on removing the keyboard.

    Good Luck, Jim
