how to get my ip address?

    How do I get my IP Address? I use a router.

    at your cmd prompt type "ipconfig /all" That will give you the IP of your PC and default gateway (router).

    How do you get it, meaning how does it get assigned? Assuming router is acting as a DHCP, it gets assigned to each connected PC automatically.
    To find out the IP address assigned to the PC, you do what the other fella said. ;)
