How to get rid of ads1234

Ironically I was redirected there several times trying to follow major geeks links.......

So far:

Attempted start up with f8 safe mode (success? not sure) and:

Ran Ad-Aware
Ran Spybot Search and Destroy
Ran Norton Anti-Virus
Turned off Windows Messenger
Subbed Sun Java for Microsoft Java

Still plagued.

It there an explicit remedy for this condition? Or a FAQ?

Have you ran HijackThis (http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=3155)

You might be able to see an obvious entry(wouldn't recommend removing anything if ya dont know what it is), if not, there are people here that will help when you post a copy of the log...

Start HERE:

Run through the steps as best you can. Note the steps that you can and cannot complete. Pay attention to: Safe Mode - System Restore Off (if you have it - you didn't mention OS) - Enable the Viewing of Hidden Files. Make sure to do the online scans.
These steps will deal with any excess crap that would otherwise show up in a HijackThis Log.
