How to get rid of red underlines on Word?

    Doing a search, I read that it is under tools, options, but I can't find tools! Thank you.

    You did not mention what version you have...

    Try clicking on the upper left hand corner microsoft button. At the bottom of the window you'll see "Word Options". Go to Proofing and uncheck "Check Spelling as you type"

    I don't know which version of Microsoft word you are using. Anyways, the red lined words mean the spelling of that particular are wrong. Just right click on that word and MS word will suggest you the right spelling of that particular word. All you need to do is click on the word that you wanted to write. For better understanding watch video on you tube. You can search "correcting spellings in MS word".

    I think the instructions you got were for an older version of word.
