hei, you could do it mannually. the method is simple. hope it could help you!!!!!!!!
1."Start"->"Run" enter "regedit" click "OK" then you turn to the " Registry Editor" page.
    2.Find the following key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
then right click the key "Unistall" choose "Export" to backup it. suggest you name the backup file as "unhide".
3.Open the "Uninstall" folder, you may find an sub-folder similar with the program you want to hide (if there is not, you could open the sub-folder, and double click the file named "DisplayName" on the left to identify the name information). after you find it, right click it and "Delete" it. then backup the "Uninstall" key again as mentioned in step 2.
This time you name the backup file as "hide"
4.when you want to "hide" the program you want, please double click the "hide" file you created in step 3; if you want to "unhide" it , double click the "unhide" file created in step 2.
    That's all! easy isn't it????:-D

well if you do not want other people seeing your games/file and what not why don't you just set them up with a limited user account on your PC:confused

You could always change the name of the program in C:/Program Files (if that is where you have installed it).

You don't have to use the programmers name for the program. For example, if you had a standalone version of Microsoft's Excel, you dont have to call it Excel, you could call it C:\Progran Files\My Hidden Spreadsheet program. ;)

Otherwise take advantage of all the replies posted earlier for a better solution. Bazza
