Is there a program that will hide a program I have running? This is for recording video and I have a hard time finding a program that will actually minimize the program while I am recording and not show up on the toolbar.

This program, "The Wonderful Icon" (TWI), will help by mapping shortcut keys to do what you want plus other things ..... check it out

You can setup a shortcut key either to minimize the program to the system tray (i.e., showing only the program's icon), or to hide the program's window from the desktop and taskbar. Unhiding will unhide everything. OR.... You can add these features to the right click menu of TWI's icon.

I'm not using it now but have in the past with Win95 and Win2k - only reason I'm not using it now, is that my workplace is in the midst of switching most desktop computers with standard program equipped workstations being locked out from installing programs. I've weaned myself off of programs that I won't be able to use once I'm switched over.
