I'm not sure what to do in this case below? My computer is running XP home edition and my computer is a fujitsu siemens SCALEO Pa 2510
I have went to fujitsu's website but I don't know which drivers to download because there are several showing up.
I don't want to use auto driver updaters because I doubt that's the right thing to do.

Anyone know what I should do in this case?

What is the make and model of your computer. If it is custom built the make and model of the motherboard.

I opened up my computer (fujitsu siemens SCALEO Pa 2510) and the motherboard is made by ASUS.. The model is M2R-FVM
However when I go to ASUS for drivers I cannot see that model motherboard anywhere?

The serial number of the computer will not work on ASUS.com so I tried it on fujitsu siemens site (YSDO111271) and it brings up a list of drivers but again I don't know which to choose? Is it an ACPI Driver I need to download by any chance?

**EDIT** I have found this site which says its an AMD ACPI/AWY0001 Driver issue, should I just go ahead and download? http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=1217053

On further inspection that site I linked to in my last post does not seem to be genuine! I will continue to AMD site and see from there. Maybe a mod can edit out that link at the end of my last post?

I believe this is a chipset driver issue, but if you notice no problems with the computer, I would leave well enough alone. "If it aint broke, don't fix it" as the saying goes.

Edit: Some extra info on your motherboard.

I came across another site that give nvidia as the chipset for graphics, so I am not sure what is going on. When you looked at the motherboard, can you see who's name is on the southbridge chip. If not, run Everest and look at the log file.

Yes I agree "if it isn't broke then don't fix it"

It is annoying problem that's all. From what I have gathered it seems to be a problem relating to AMD but the thing is that when I got this PC it had vista and AMD installed but now it has XP and NVIDIA installed.

I don't really know what I'm doing in this regard so I should probably leave it alone.

Thanks for spending the time to help me anyway :major

Yes mine is showing as NVIDIA GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS

When this PC left the factory it had vista on it but was formatted by some guy before I got it. Maybe the problem that is showing up in device manager is due to vista drivers having been on it at one time but now it is completely changed?

I'm out of my depth here anyway so I will leave it as it does not seem to be causing a problem, it is an annoyance more then anything :)
