How to identify the motherboard and RAM

I have a Gateway GM5478 which was refurbished by TigerDirect.com and I wanted to know what RAM and Motherboard I have I wanted to get a spare motherboard because I wanted to upgrade my BIOS and I wanted a spare board just in case something bad happens I have to upgrade my BIOS because of a glitch that the BIOS that comes with my computer model has. And the symptoms of the problem I am having matches the FAQ for the BIOS update so I am 90% positive it will fix the problem.

Anyway from what I can gather from my research by using Everest, internet, etc. I have 2 Gigs of Dual channel DDR2 RAM though I don't know the bus speed or type. And I looked up the GM5478 the Gateway site says it has a Intel (Schroeder Town) G33 motherboard but that appears to be a vendor specific name because intel has no such board on their website and I cant find it anywhere on the net. And I tried to find the stick on the mobo without tearing stuff out of my PC (As I have nowhere to lay the components down nor shield them from ESD) and I found what I thought was the motherboard model number but it came up with no results on the net. I tried System Information but it only gives me the BIOS version number. From what I can tell I have a Award BIOS (DPP3510j.15A.0261) but I have no model number nor can I find it on the motherboard as I don't know what I'm looking for.
