How to make Xp SP2 stop finding new hardware

    i installed a printer Zebra TlC 2844. it's driver is not digirtally signed. So each time I reboot the machine it keeps prompting me that it found a new hardware, but the printer is already installed. I tried reinstalling it. it still keeps doing it.
    XP SP2 has all the latest updates. i believe that's what causing it. Previous version SP1 was OK
