how to NOT have to login to XP ?

i have resently changed PC. and on this PC i have to login, (press enter rolleyes )

how to just make it login automaticly ?

or is it a hotfix. or something that have changed it ? so that you now have to. ?

Some way to achieve this

If its the .NET account listed after an update use this

Or for other accounts use the TweakUI method ( TweakUI can be downloaded here Powertyoys for XP as part of the powertoys pack )

Instructions for TweakUI and autologon

Open TweakUI (Click Start, Programs, Powertoys for Windows XP). Expand the Logon branch, and click Autologon. Turn on the "Log on automatically at......" option, type your username and password, and click Ok.

but you wont achieve a choice of account if autologon if you have multiple accounts setup as the OS wont know which one to load, only works if you have one main account.

click start / settings / control panel/ and user accounts un-select the use the welcome screen, NOTE: if you have a password you will still get a user password window if you dont want this either change that tooo....
