How To Not Run A Business.

After reading this article, waiting 5 hours for windows updates seemed to be quite a pleasant experience.

 

Someone at work shared that story the other day.... does it make me a bad person that I actually find the whole thing kind of hilarious?

I feel very bad for the man's customers, but ultimately... this is why you have external backups on another network.

 

I am with you Mimsy, kinda funny to me. Not good for bidness.

 

I feel for the guy and the customers.But it is funny.How could you make a mistak like that.Not very professional if you ask me.

But what a mistake not to have any type of backup system in place.I am sorry to say you could have at least bought a external back up 1 tb would have been more than enough to keep a shadow copy or a full copy of the systems.

I use one now and i have 4 computers.Each computer i have i have all of the backups,And system restore points on my one Tb External hard drive.

I even store games files to shadow copy to each computer to save time.And there are some games that take a long time to install,Some now go up to 65 Gigs of space.You want to have some backup for them including music,video,and programs that you might use in the future.And even a flash drive backup of the OS would have been more than enough for the system to recover.
