How to Obtain Public IP for Web Site

    I'm new to publishing webs but I would prefer to not use an isp's web interface. I want control over everything, so what's the easiest way to obtain a public IP?

    Any help would be great.

    You're publishing a website? Did I understand you correctly?

    If I did understand you correctly, the web interface would probably give you the most control over everything.

    You buy some webspace or set up your own server, After that Register your domain name, voila its done. If you go the hoem server route you'll need a Static IP or Dynamic DNS server < www.no-ip.org >
