how to overclock dell

    hey guys, i have a dell deminsion 4600c and i was wondering how i can overclock it? can anyone help me out? never done it before, only want to try it then set it back to normal speed. thanks guys.

    unfortunately, all dells have locked front side buses, so your best bet is to use this: http://www.cpuid.com/clockgen.php

    just be sure to make sure that you have proper cooling. if you don't at least put some good thermal paste on the CPU, it'll overheat so fast that the processor will slow down instead of overclocking. and make sure you take little baby steps. oh, and have fun!:)

    ok i have a question about this what mobo does dell use in the 4600? i have one also but dont know what mobo i have. have used many different mainboard detectors but they all say dell computer corp. which clock gen would i use?
