I different things on different browsers and don't want people who are on my laptop to go on but I know they will. And I don't want to have to log out everytime someones at my house. So I was wondering whether there was an application to put a password on certain applications?

e.g. if someone opens up Chrome, they have to put in the password in order to get on it? Same with Safari and opera?

    Thanks.

Create a 'guest account' and put whatever you want to be available in there and also passwording your administrator account, you may have to reinstall your browsers and other apps on your admin account if you clicked 'everybody' when you first installed them, just reinstall them on your admin account 'only', everything else should still be there. There may be an easier way, wait for other input first.

I've had similar issues when my friends are over, while I'd be in the can they'd post stupid stuff, so now when they're here and when I need a leak, I just log out of my account, works for me.:-D

    Hi

This may be something worth trying (I haven't tried it myself, but it looks promising). They have a free and paid version available.
