how to play dvds?

    i put a dvd on my computer and it opens in windows media but it doesnt show the movie it shows the music things..{lines that show the volume etc}..how can i get this to work?

    Are you running DVD player program? such as windvd or powerdvd?

    Zoom Player is on the front page of MG today. Also, go here http://home.earthlink.net/~cresho/vd.htm and download the freecodec installer which will allow you to watch DVDs with WMP9 (I've not tried it with WMP10, though). I just d/l a fresh version and scanned it for virii with Avast.
