How to... Pls. Help "PHP"

Hi,

say i have this situation, i have 2 computers 1 desktop and 1 laptop to be specific, then i had created web pages using php, i've used xampp to host my php pages. and the desktop computer would be the one hosting. now here is my question

i've networked the two computers locally without internet connection. what i want to do is view the web page in the laptop, similar to viewing a web page over the internet. is there any pre-requisites for this or am i missing something?

1. do i have to install xampp on the laptop?
2. i have a simple forums on the webpage, using mysql database, how can i join the forums from the laptop,
