"how To Protect Yourself From Malware!" Thread Removed?

I've just noticed that the thread "How to Protect yourself from malware" is not pinned to the top of the malware removal forum anymore.

Is there any reason behind this as I found it very helpful when determining which anti-malware software to use. These days I use Avira as my real time protection, alongside Malwarebytes and SuperAntispyware as on demand scanners. I also use SpywareBlaster as additional protection.

I'm curious though as to whether things have changed and other software has surpassed or replaced the old recommendations.
