How to pull out a hardrive connector..:/

    I have had power connectors get stuck before also, not to the extent shown above, but pretty well stuck. I have found that using a sturdy set of needle-nose pliers to grip the white plastic piece, then using the the metal HD casing just above the power connector as a fulcrum, I gradually (but FIRMLY) push down on the pliers, which causes the end of the pliers gripping the white plastic to go up, and hopefully removes the stuck connector. You could also try spraying little bit of WD40 in there before using the pliers. If all else fails, you can always leave the white connector where it is, and pull out the pins from a PSU molex connector and push 'em in....
    GOOD LUCK!!!

    . . . . and no, there is no "lock thingy" LOL
