    I have a domain, a site, I pay on a yearly basis.

I first used wordpress then changed to PrestaShop™ (or something like that, I don't quite understand the process)

Then I never used it, forgot about passwords and procedure, windows broke down, I'm now on ubuntu 16

Is there some way to recover and start over again?

    Thank's

In fact I did write a letter to them, the name of the site is duer.com.br but it is just a prebuild site from prestashop, I have not yet decided what I want to do with it, well prestashop did not return(checking my email)

Thank you for contacting us! Your submission has been received and a member of our team will contact you within 5 business days. Thanks again for choosing PrestaShop.

    Sincerely,

    The PrestaShop Team."

Looks like they have a few more days to reply.

    I'm thinking
about building it myself, just need to learn how, can you recommend any online site builders like yola I once tried.

Is there a graphic Ubuntu site builder? (without too much terminal and coding)

lets say I choose yola, would it be possible to simply create an account and then insert my domain name, would the old site then be overwritten?

    Thanks for your input,

    :)

While you wait for a reply from PrestaShop, have a look at NetObjects Fusion Essentials.
    http://netobjects.com/html/free-website-design-software.html
It's free and includes everything you need to build your own website, and you don't need to learn any coding.
As for your domain name, you'll have to check with the company you're paying every year.

Thanks, looks like it's windows only, but maybe virtualbox can handle it.

Do you mean to say that in a last case scenario the company that provided me with the domain name, could reset the site?

I missed that you're using Ubuntu. If you're running Windows in VirtualBox, you can use the software.
With regards to your domain name, you'll have to contact the company.
