how to reinstall wxp?

    It seems that MSI K8 plat neo nforce3 ultra board doesnt allow for authentic WXP cdrom to be booted up w/o the use of floppies; my Q is if there is a way around this? I concluded that it doesn't allow for cdrom to boot because i built a comp last week with same cpu/mobo and it had the same exact problem but his cd wasnt authentic.

    when i built the system in my sig i couldn't boot the install from the XP CD either ... though ive reinstalled since then and didn't have to use floppies for some reason

    the only thing i could suggest, which you have probably already tried is to go into the BIOS and set the CD as the first boot drive
