How to remove AVG

I just bought SuperAntiSpyware and would like to totally remove AVG. How do I do that, since I know it's placed itself everywhere. Will removing it also safely remove anything in the vault?

AVG is a good free antivirus software - if you're comfortable with it, then by all means stick with it...

Two tools you could try are a) Everything which will list all the files of AVG when you do a search. You can then go to edit and select all then delete.
b) Revo uninstaller which does a good job but the whole programme will have to be there in order to delete it , that is if you have partially deleted it then it won't see it whereas Everything will show all the leftover files even after what is supposed to be a full deletion.

Your post implies SuperAntiSpyware replaces AVG. It does not; SuperAntiSpyware is not an anti-virus program.

 

Thank you! I've installed Avast, since I update and run everynight, so the automatic updating and run settings on AVG aren't needed.
