How to remove hard drive error message

    In windows 8.

    I tried to find the local group policy but windows cant find it.

    Need more specifics. Hard drive errors are typically bad news. Please give specific error as well as when it appears and if you can duplicate the error.

    Well its been solved this time windows 8 showed an option to not to show the message again. It showed this option after about 15 notifications.im aware i have a hard drive errors but it still works. Its just a spare hd.

    Spare or not, I would not use it that drive to store anything. Telling the OS to ignore the error is not a good idea. Your HD should not be generating any errors.
    Ignoring error messages does not solve the problem. It is like putting a piece of black tape over the Check Engine light in your car.
