it's been bugging me for a while because i never use it, but always seem to click on it by accident when i go to make a "New>>Folder".

does anyone know the registry value for this useless feature? :)

I doubt it's in the registry at all. As far as I know, any sub menu on the context menus have to have there own dll's. Removing it would require editing one of the systems dll's. Which wouldn't really be to hard, if you could locate the correct dll. :)

But information on context menus is tricky to come by. The only thing I can really say for sure is the only thing you can do with a registry edit is remove the entire New option. You could then remake a custom new with one of your own DLL's if you wanted. But I wouldn't recommend such an approach.
