Lately i've been having lots of problems with my computer. First both my internet's stopped working (internet explorer and firefox) i can't even open them now, and then my MSN messenger stopped working. I was told this was down to the Kiwee toolbar that had installed itself on my computer. So i tried to uninstall the toolbar from add and remove programmes but it wouldn't. So i downloaded a programme called unlocker which someone suggested to me. I deleted all the kiwee files and after this my MSN stared working again but the internet didn't. Despite deleting the kiwee files the toolbar is still on my computer, it still appears in the control panel and no matter how many times i try to uninstall it, it just won't go. I think it's the Kiwee toolbar and all the malware it comes with that's stopping my internet from working. Can someone please tell me how to remove it, without having to pay for expensive programmes like perfect uninstaller. This problem only happens on the administer account all other accounts work fine.

    PLEASE HELP, QUICK!!!

    thanks kirsty :)

    Hi

    What Windows version you using?

What security software do you have installed and please name all of them if you can? but first thing to test is, if you have a software firewall, is this blocking you from connecting to the internet?

So is it just browsers that cannot connect or can you also not update applications like antivirus?

You could try Your Uninstaller or Revo Uninstaller to see if any remaining parts are left, could also try the Windows Installer Cleanup tool and look for Kiwee in the list and remove it, but do download and install CCleaner and run its Cleaner and Registry tool *do run the registry one a few times until nothing is listed for removal*

Then look to see if you have a Kiwee folder in C:\Program Files\ if so delete it.
