   i have a dell inspiron 530. its running vista. And I want to restore it to factory settings, like out of the box new. What do i need to that. And i Have office 2007, will i be able to install it again on the same computer?

   The Inspiron 530 should have this route to restore back to factory HERE
   
   Yes on Office 2007, it would be best if you uninstall it first before running the factroy restore and on re-install you may have to call the activation line to re activate, its rare but does pop up now and again (sometimes depends on version used, I've had no issues with Office 2007 Enterprise or Ultimate on re-installs)

   i tried that but it just boots after i select reapir. Do you think that it might have to something with that i have ubuntu installed?
