How to System Restore in Windows 2000

Not getting much help with my original problem here or at 5 Star.
Can anyone point me to instructions for doing system restore under win2k?

 

W2K doesnt have or support system restore.
Do you mean reinstall OS from a restore disk?
Or there is install OS from CD, fresh install or repair install?

 

I thought I was reading that you could do it even though it's not menuized.
I don't know if a restore or reinstall will cure my problem.
I've been getting the computer to come on; but it only stays on a couple of minutes.
I went in an analyzed for defrag, but it said it didn't need it.
I don't want to do anything drastic unless I need to.
Is there a repair from CD option somewhere?

 

There's an article for Win2k system restore at microsoft.com I think.
I couldn't get it to work, though.
I'm up and running for at least the time being.
Not sure what did the trick.
